Lacrosse Equipment Requirements

Each player is required to provide his/her own equipment during the Spring season (with exceptions as noted below).

Equipment can be purchased at Sling It! Lacrosse. Tell them you're with the Coyotes or follow the link to our Team Store for a purchase discount.

Equipment List for Girls Team Players

  • Goggles - Lacrosse Specific
  • Mouthguard - must be visible color other than clear, red, or white
  • Stick - Lacrosse Specific for girls
  • Cleats - soccer, lacrosse, and turf cleats are all acceptable
  • Gloves - women's lacrosse specific are optional
  • Helmets - women's lacrosse specific are optional

Equipment List for Boys Team Players

  • Helmets - Lacrosse Specific / NOCSAE certified
  • Mouthpiece - must be visible color other than clear, red, or white
  • Shoulder/Chest Pads - (see additional info. below)
  • Elbow pads
  • Gloves - Lacrosse Specific
  • Protective Cup

The club can accommodate some equipment for players on a limited basis. Please inquire at clubadmin@coyoteslacrosse.org for details.

Additional Information for Boys Equipment

  • Effective January 1, 2022, shoulder pads for boys field players must be designed for lacrosse and meet National Operating Committee on Standard for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE); NOCSAE standard ND200.
  • Effective January 1, 2021, ALL goalie chest protectors must be designed for lacrosse and meet NOCSAE standard, ND200.
  • All chest protectors and shoulder pads must contain NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark on both the packaging and the product to be legal for play.
